The Col de Sarenne via the Lac du Chambon is the other side of the Oisans. Where the roads narrow, the bends tighten and the panoramas over the lake and the Grandes Rousses open up without warning. At an altitude of 1,999 metres, this slope is one of the most unspoilt passes in the massif. Those who have climbed it from the shores of Chambon know what they have achieved. From the course to the trophy

Each 3D card is created in three stages, in our workshop in Bourg-d’Oisans, a few kilometres from the pass itself.

• The real topographic data of the ascent from Lac du Chambon have been converted into an accurate digital model: every contour line, every bend, every flat section is faithfully rendered.
• The relief is 3D printed layer by layer. The ascent route is raised on the map, visible at first glance, like a trace left on the terrain.
• The solid oak base is laser-engraved with the exact ascent data: the name of the pass, the distance, the positive elevation gain, and the average gradient. The whole set is presented in a ready-to-give gift box.

The Sarenne Pass in relief

Perched at 1,999 metres in the Grandes Rousses massif, the Col de Sarenne is one of the most authentic passes in the Oisans. From the Lac du Chambon, the ascent climbs along the northern slopes of the massif, on a narrow road that cars avoid and that cyclists and hikers fully embrace. The lake appears behind you as you gain altitude, offering one of the most striking views of the valley.

This slope offers a challenging profile, with steep sections in the first few kilometres and a progression towards the high alpine pastures that rewards the effort with high mountain landscapes. Less frequented than the ascent from Bourg-d’Oisans, it offers a quieter, more mineral, and often more personal climb.
