What’s the difference between the 40 cm and the 62 cm deer head?
The 40 cm size (40×25×22 cm) suits smaller, cosier spaces: study, entrance hall, bedroom. The large 62 cm format (62×40×39 cm) is made for big walls: fireplace, open-plan living room, chalet wall. Same build quality, same 3 mm plywood, same workshop — it’s simply a question of space and visual impact.
How do I hang the deer head on the wall?
A keyhole slot is built into the base. Once the head is assembled, you hang it on a simple nail or screw. The slot disappears behind the wood — nothing shows. No extra fixing kit needed.
What skill level do I need to assemble this 3D puzzle?
No particular skill. The included assembly plan is illustrated and the pieces are numbered. Assembly takes about 15 minutes. Suitable from age 14, and ideal to do as a pair.
Can the wood be stained or painted after assembly?
Yes, absolutely. The natural plywood takes wood stains, dyes and acrylic paints very well. Some customers customise their deer head to match their decor. We recommend a light sanding before applying any finish.
Is this product made in France?
Yes. Every piece is laser-cut and engraved in our workshop in Bourg-d’Oisans, in the French Alps. Sanded and checked by hand before shipping. No subcontracting.
