Description
The Col du Granon rises to 2,413 metres in the Briançonnais massif, in the Hautes-Alpes. From Briançon or the village of Saint-Chaffrey, the climb puts your legs through a gruelling ascent: over 11 kilometres with a total ascent of around 1,300 metres, an average gradient of around 9 %, and sections that regularly exceed 12 %. This hors catégorie climb has forged legends of the Tour de France. It deserves a trophy commensurate with the effort it demands.
From the course to the trophy
Three steps, an object that lasts.
- The GPX track of your ascent is converted into precise topographical data.
- The relief of the mountain pass is 3D-printed, true to the terrain, with the ascent route raised on the map.
- The oak base is laser-engraved with the name of the pass, distance, elevation gain and average gradient. Everything is made to order in our workshop, in Bourg-d’Oisans.

The Col du Granon is rated as hors-catégorie. It rises above Briançon, in the Hautes-Alpes, between the Cerces and Briançonnais mountain ranges. The road leading to it, narrow and relentless, leaves no room for doubt: every metre is gained by the strength of your legs. The map reproduces this relief with precision – the flat sections, the hairpin bends, the final ramp – and the route of your ascent appears in relief, visible and clear at a glance.
