There’s a difference between a decoration and a presence. The large-format bear is a presence. 48 cm of structured wood, an imposing mass on your wall, a head that watches over the room. Made from 5 mm plywood — thicker than our standard sizes — so a piece this large holds firm without bending.
It’s the model for big walls: living-room wall, fireplace, chalet entrance. For spaces that can carry something this strong.

Large or small format?
If you’re torn between the two versions: the 30 cm size (30×28×21 cm) suits smaller, cosier spaces — study, bedroom, flat entrance. This large 48 cm size is made for walls that deserve a strong focal point. Same plywood, same workshop — but 5 mm instead of 3 mm to cope with the stresses of the large size.
Frequently asked questions
Why is this large size made in 5 mm plywood rather than 3 mm?
The bigger the head, the stiffer the pieces need to be for the assembly to hold over time. We use 5 mm plywood for this large size to ensure structural strength and prevent any warping. It’s a quality choice, not a cost-cutting one.
Is this 3D bear puzzle difficult to assemble?
No. The pieces are numbered and the assembly plan is illustrated. Estimated assembly time: about 15 minutes. Suitable from age 14. No tools or glue needed.
How do I hang this large size on the wall?
A keyhole slot is built into the back of the base. It hangs on a nail or screw suited to its weight (we recommend a screw and wall plug for this large size). The fixing is invisible from the front.
Is this product made in France?
Yes. Laser-cut and engraved in our workshop in Bourg-d’Oisans (French Alps). Sanded and checked by hand before shipping.
