Description
The trophy of your Oisans cyclosportive
170 kilometres. 5,400 metres of climbing. Four passes. One single day. You won’t forget those numbers. Setting off from Bourg-d’Oisans at 713 metres, you rode the Croix-de-Fer, the Télégraphe and the Galibier one after another, before taking on Alpe d’Huez from its wild side: the Col de Sarenne. Now, that day deserves to be engraved in wood.
This 3D relief trophy accurately reproduces the topography of the whole route, from Bourg-d’Oisans to the finish at Alpe d’Huez, across the Oisans and the Maurienne. Every contour line, every pass, every descent is visible. Your route is raised on the map, so the effort takes shape.
From route to trophy
- The GPX track of the route is converted into precise topographic data.
- The relief map is 3D-printed: you can feel every metre of climbing with your fingers.
- The oak base is laser-engraved with the distance, elevation gain, date and name of the route — a finished object, ready to give or display.
The four passes in 3D relief
Col de la Croix-de-Fer — 2,067 m (24 km at 5.2%). The first real test, at kilometre 38. Long and irregular, with deceptive flat sections and kicks that wear you down before the day has really begun.
Col du Télégraphe — 1,566 m (11.9 km at 7.1%). After the long descent into the Maurienne, a steady climb in the shade of the fir trees. You ride it knowing it’s only the warm-up.
Col du Galibier — 2,642 m (17.7 km at 6.9%). The roof of the route, at kilometre 115. The last kilometres above Valloire, where the air thins and the landscape turns to rock. Then the descent via the Lautaret.
Col de Sarenne — 1,999 m (12.8 km at 7.3%). The signature of this route. No numbered hairpins here: a narrow, wild road from Clavans-le-Bas, to be tackled with whatever is left in your legs after 150 kilometres. This is the way to Alpe d’Huez, at 1,850 metres.
The trophy of your climb
Completing 170 kilometres and 5,400 metres of climbing in a single day is something few people ever do. This isn’t a generic medal, or a race number stuffed in a drawer. It’s an object that tells exactly what you did: those passes, that route, that day. On a desk, a shelf or a wall, it brings back the cold start, the passes ticked off one by one, and the last ramp of Sarenne.
Customisable, made in France
The trophy comes in three sizes — 10 cm, 15 cm or 20 cm — to suit your space or the gift. Three oak base shapes are available: rounded base, square base or mountain only. For the terrain and route colours, there are four combinations: matt white / copper, matt black / gold, matt olive green / silver, matt grey / red.
Every piece is printed and engraved in France, in our workshop in Bourg-d’Oisans. Production starts when you order. The trophy is delivered in a gift box, ready to give or to keep.
